Qigong's Association with Traditional Chinese Medicine

Qigong - like Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Tuina - is one of the key branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is rooted in the understanding that Qi, our vital life energy, moves through the body and its meridians as a subtle vibration or electrical current.

When Qi flows freely, the body functions harmoniously. But if the meridians become blocked, Qi can slow down or stagnate, potentially leading to illness. That’s why maintaining a smooth, balanced flow of Qi is considered essential for health and wellbeing.
